What the cards show

Every card is a link to the post. It can carry the featured image, the title, the date and a short excerpt, and you choose which of those to show. The excerpt can be anywhere from none to forty words, and is twenty to begin with.

What it draws from

Only published content is shown. A draft, a private item or one behind a password is never a card.

It is the same engine

The cards roll in the same strip as the free blocks: the same speed in pixels per second, the same spacing and edge fade, the same hover and focus pause and the same Pause button. Pro carries no motion engine of its own. It hands its cards to the free plugin's engine, so a card strip behaves exactly like a text strip.

What stays free

The free plugin has the News ticker, which rolls post titles as links. Cards with pictures, dates and excerpts, and sources beyond posts, are the paid part. Nothing in the free plugin is locked, and a Pro licence does not switch any feature on or off: it gives you updates and support.

The details of the licence, and what happens if you stop paying, are on the pricing page.
