What happens if the licence lapses

This is the part most plugins are vague about, so here it is flatly. If you cancel, or the card fails, or you simply decide not to renew:

  1. Your post and product strips keep working. A licence never turns a feature on or off.
  2. Nothing disappears. No marquee, no setting.
  3. The free plugin runs completely unchanged.
  4. There are no more updates, and no support. That is what you bought, and that is what stops.
  5. No notice on every page. The plugin’s License tab says what has happened, and nowhere else does.
  6. Your site does not stop. No white screen. Ever.

What you give up is future maintenance: new WordPress and Elementor releases the add-on has to keep up with, and WooCommerce changes that touch product data. The strips you already have keep running; they just stop being kept up to date.

Why the code being free does not make the licence pointless

Every line of this plugin is GPL, including Pro. Anyone may legally take it, rename it and sell it, and in the WordPress world people do. We are not going to pretend otherwise or build a lock that would only annoy you. So the honest pitch is: you are buying updates, support and a person to write to, and the code comes along for free.

Questions

Do I need an account? No. The copy you download after buying already carries your licence key, so there is nothing to paste; the License tab in the plugin’s settings screen shows it. There is no separate login here.

Does Pro need the free plugin? Yes. Pro sits next to Ribbonfly Marquee and draws through its engine, so WordPress will not let you activate Pro until the free plugin is installed and active. The post cards need nothing else; the Products strip needs WooCommerce.

What does Pro send to you? Only to our licence service, and only for the licence and for updates. The full list is on the privacy page; the free plugin sends nothing.

What if your licence server is down? Nothing happens to your strips. The last known answer is kept, and updates simply resume when the service answers again. A licence check that can break somebody’s website is a worse problem than an unpaid licence.

Can I cancel? Yes, any time, through the payment provider’s customer portal, linked from your receipt email, or by emailing us and we will do it for you. A subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for. See refunds and cancellation.

I have lost my download. Have a fresh link emailed to you.

Can I use it on a staging site as well as production? Yes. A licence covers your production site together with its staging, development and local copies; what it covers is written out in section 4 of the terms.
