1 · Install it
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for Ribbonfly Marquee, then press Install and Activate. It needs WordPress 6.5 and PHP 7.4 or newer. On anything older it does not load, says so in a notice to the people who can fix it, and leaves the rest of your site alone.
2 · Add a marquee in the block editor
Edit a page, press + and search for ribbonfly. Pick Text ticker, Logo strip or Testimonials for a strip you type into, or Ribbonfly News Ticker for your latest posts. Replace the placeholders, and set speed, spacing and pausing in the sidebar. The editor shows a still preview; the strip rolls on the published page.
3 · Or add one in Elementor
With Elementor 3.20 or newer active, the widget panel has a Ribbonfly Marquee category with two widgets. Drag Ribbonfly Marquee in and edit its list of Text, Image and Card items, or drag Ribbonfly News Ticker in to roll your latest posts.
4 · A place to try it
Settings → Ribbonfly Marquee has a short guide and a live strip with its Pause button. There is nothing to configure there: the plugin stores no settings.
Not sure how fast to go? The speed guide has a calculator.
Then, if you want strips that fill themselves
Everything above is free and stays free. Pro is a separate plugin that adds post cards and WooCommerce products. You install it next to the free one; WordPress will refuse to activate it until the free plugin is there. See the pricing →
